When is Black Friday 2021 and what deals will be available

The busiest shopping day of the year is fast approaching, with deals and offers soon to be snapped up.

In recent years, the UK has adopted the American shopping tradition of Black Friday and made it our own.

Most stores now offer deals through Black Friday weekend, giving shoppers more time to make savings.

Retailers including Zara, Amazon, B&M, Argos , Aldi and more are among those which typically offer deals on Black Friday in the UK.

For anyone wanting to plan ahead for their Christmas shopping – or just get some good deals – we’ve taken a look at what you need to know for Black Friday 2021.

What is Black Friday?

Black Friday started off as an American tradition, following on from Thanksgiving, which always falls on the fourth Thursday in November. The Friday after has now become known as Black Friday.

The big sales operate similar to Boxing Day , where retailers roll out a sale to bring in customers – though Black Friday deals often run for more than just one day.

When is Black Friday 2021?

Black Friday officially takes place this year on Friday, November 26, 2021.

What deals will be available?

Retailers tend to keep tight-lipped when it comes to announcing Black Friday deals, though sales usually begin two weeks before the big day.

Stores which usually take part include Amazon, Currys PC World, John Lewis, Smyths, Adidas, Argos, and Costco .

Others include TK Maxx, B&M, ASOS, Boots, Zara, Asda, Aldi, Lidl, Morrisons, Tesco and Sainsbury’s.

When is Cyber Monday 2021?

Cyber Monday is another holiday that follows just days after Black Friday.

It comes the Monday directly after Black Friday and follows the same concept as Black Friday but with a focus on online retailers and deals.

Cyber Monday 2021 falls on Monday, November 29.
