New after dark light trail with laser maze and wishing tree

A new after dark light trail is taking place ahead of Christmas, with a laser maze and wishing tree.

The Luminate attraction is coming to Walton Hall and Gardens in Warrington for a month during the festive season.

The trail will take visitors on a magical journey along a 1.2k long route sparkling with lights. There will be 3D projections, light tunnels, interactive elements and much more. Visitors will be welcomed into a Christmas hub area where they will be able to buy drinks and festive street food.

The event runs from November 24 up to and including Christmas Eve from 4.30pm and people can take as long as they like walking the magical trail.

The Luminate event is also being held at other locations, including Victoria Park in Southport and further afield, the Queen’s Sandringham Estate and Margam Park in South Wales.

Daniel Maycock, one of the organisers, said: “We are really looking forward to bringing this magical event to Warrington and Walton Gardens. It’s a beautiful venue, perfect for an enchanting light trial. The event is something new and different for the area, we hope most people won’t have seen anything like it before – and we can’t wait to open! We look forward to welcoming people to this captivating event over the Festive period and hope it becomes a favourite family tradition for years to come.”
