Merseyside restaurant’s ‘cunning’ plan to save Christmas

One of Merseyside’s most popular restaurants has revealed its “cunning” plan to save Christmas.

The Refreshment Rooms, in Rock Ferry, Wirral, has closed its doors after restaurants were forced to close due to a second national lockdown this week.

The popular venue is keeping things positive while it remains closed and has revealed it has a way to “save the Grinch’s Christmas”.

The Refreshment Rooms is offering fans the chance to have its food at home this Christmas Day, with a four course meal delivered straight to your door.

Sharing the news on Facebook, the team wrote: “A cunning plan to save the Grinch’s Christmas:

“Please note 5 mile radius for delivery is from Woodside CH41 6DU and must be paid in full at time of order. (cash in person or card)”

The Christmas Day Hot Food Delivery Service is available for £30pp, with a two course option for children priced at £20.

You can choose a time slot for delivery between 12pm and 5pm on Christmas day, and booking early is recommended to avoid missing your ideal time.

Traditional roast Cheshire turkey with roast and mashed potatoes, pigs in blankets, market vegetables, house gravy and cranberry sauce

Homemade chocolate brownie with fresh single cream (vegan option available upon request)
