A new drive-thru reindeer safari and magical light trail are opening, less than an hour from Liverpool, just in time for Christmas.
This year, the Reindeer Lodge has launched an alternative to its regular grotto experience with a Covid-safe drive-thru event for all the family.
You and your little ones can enjoy an enchanting and festive experience from the safety of your car as the stunning 50-acre site is transformed into a drive-thru winter safari adventure not to be missed.
Families can enjoy seeing the gorgeous reindeer herds and where they live all year round, a magical woodland, an enchanting light display trail and a hidden elf village with drive-thru toy workshop plus a drive-in theatre show.

You will also get to meet with Father Christmas himself at Santa’s lodge.
The Reindeer Lodge, which is based in Mold, said on its Facebook page: “Due to the recent increase in Covid-19 infection rates and the uncertainty of what activities will now be permitted by December we have taken the decision change this year’s grotto package to a drive-thru experience that you can enjoy from the safety of your own vehicle.
“With grotto visits not being possible in the same room as Father Christmas and the likelihood of activities like our indoor stage show, face painting, donkey rides and contact with reindeer not being permitted this year we have created a new Covid-safe package for Christmas 2020.
“But it’s not all bad news, we’re really excited about the magical experience we can still offer for this year.

“There will be lots of other surprises along the way to wow visitors and create an immersive and enchanting trail with stunning lakeside views, magical woodland and herds of gorgeous reindeer in their paddocks and stables.”
You can visit by day up until 4pm or by night from 4.20pm when the light display is turned on.
Tickets on sale now at reindeerlodge.co.uk and prices start from £29.50 to £35 per car plus ticketing fees for up to seven people.
