Four men police want to speak to over high street stabbing

Police have released photos of four men they would like to speak to in connection with a stabbing by Liverpool ONE this morning that left an 18-year-old man with serious injuries.

Officers have issued an appeal for information calling on anyone who recognises these men to contact them immediately.

The appeal comes after a teenager was stabbed in broad daylight by Liverpool ONE at 11.30am on Saturday (15 August) leaving shoppers horrified.

Witnesses said that the injured victim stumbled into JD Sports in the city centre where he was helped by staff at the store.

The victim’s injuries are not thought to be life threatening and he is currently being treated in hospital.

The images, released by police this evening, show four men captured on CCTV. One of the men is wearing a hooded jacket while the others are all wearing t-shirts.
