Liverpool’s Take on the Moulin Rouge

Sleazy Street offers a night on the town with drag, pole and burlesque stars.

Sleazy Street is bringing its second event, MEAT, to Liverpool on Friday 20th September.

It’s a one-of-a-kind event where widely-acclaimed and award-winning pole dancers and burlesque stars take the stage alongside a drag queen host. The line-up includes Holly Baker, Enya Torres and Deeva D.

Between performances, DJs play a mix of soul, funk, house and disco.

The first event took place in March this year at Heebie Jeebies, with guests saying “There’s nothing else like it in Liverpool”.

Continuing its theme of iconic Liverpool venues, ‘MEAT’ will be held at The Peacock, Seel Street at 6PM.

Starting on a Friday evening, it’s the ideal night out for hen and stag parties, after work drinks with a twist, or just a catch-up with friends.

The idea came to life when founder, Amy Hawthorne, went to the Moulin Rouge in Paris. She wanted to bring something similar to her hometown, but to incorporate a focus on diversity and individuality, creating an LGBT-friendly space.

Sleazy Street celebrates freedom eras throughout history while reminding guests to let loose and live today.

It promises a night of deviance, debauchery and disco.
