An after dark light trail is coming to Merseyside this year in the run up to Christmas.
The captivating Luminate trail will include 3D projections, light tunnels, a wishing tree, interactive shadow play, laser light maze and much more.
Visitors can walk along the twinkling 1.2km route through the grounds of Victoria Park in Southport. There will also be a Christmas hub area with mulled wine and festive street food stalls cooking up tasty treats.
The event has previously been held in the Queen’s Sandringham Estate and at Margam Park in South Wales. It is coming to Southport’s Victoria Park, near the seafront, from November 25 to December 23 from 4.30pm each night.
Daniel Maycock, one of the organisers said: “We are really looking forward to bringing this magical event to Southport and Victoria Park. It’s a beautiful venue, perfect for an enchanting light trial. The event is something new and different for the area, we hope most people won’t have seen anything like it before – and we can’t wait to open! We look forward to welcoming people to this captivating event over the festive period and hope it becomes a favourite family tradition for years to come.”
