A driver has been caught driving under the influence of cannabis at the same spot a tragic crash took place on Boxing Day.
The 26-year-old suffered fatal injuries on Boxing Night after he had enjoyed a meal with friends.
Officers have previously appealed for information about the crash, and said driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting with enquiries.
The Road Policing Unit were at the scene of the crash today carrying out speed checks and said a driver tested positive for cannabis after he was pulled over.
The checks come just over a week after Jordan died.

The Roads Policing Unit tweeted to say: “We’ve been conducting more Speed Enforcement on Prescot Road at the scene of a recent fatal collision.
“First Driver stopped at 39mph also had an expired MOT.
“The second driver at 39mph had Cannabis in his car and tested positive for Cannabis on a #drugswipe and was arrested.”

Jordan’s family previously said: “We are all still coming to terms with the tragic events and our hearts are heavy with grief and sadness.
“Jordan was such a thoughtful, caring and wonderful person, loved by many and the world is a sadder place for all without him.”
