Liverpool venue Camp and Furnace is set to welcome a new bingo event night called Bingo Lingo this summer.
The unconventional bingo night, which has previously sold more than a million tickets across the country, has announced a new residency at Camp and Furnace , starting Friday, July 2.
Bingo Lingo was first launched in the summer of 2016 at Cardiff events venue, The DEPOT, and promises an “off-the-wall” and exciting breed of bingo that features twerking, dance-offs, one-of-a-kind prizes.
Past events have seen winners walk away with prizes ranging from a new car and electric scooters, to festival tickets, giant inflatables, and even a cardboard cut-out of Phillip Schofield.
Paul Speed, from Camp & Furnace, said: “It feels great to be opening back up with such a busy and diverse calendar after an unbelievably difficult time for the industry.
“We are extremely excited to bring Bingo Lingo to Camp and Furnace; we’ve heard phenomenal things about their events from our friends in Bristol, Cardiff and beyond.”
Nicholas Saunders, 29, founder of Bingo Lingo, is originally from Liverpool, is also the founder of Cardiff’s independent 22,000 sq ft warehouse venue, The DEPOT.
He said: “With events in more than 30 cities now under our belt, we’re super excited to be coming to Liverpool for the first time, my hometown, and to be working with the team at Camp and Furnace. We can’t wait to show the city what we’ve got.”
