There’s nothing better than spotting a cheap dupe of your favourite makeup products.
When it comes to beauty and skincare products many believe that the more costly an item, the better it will be.
So it’s no surprise how much excitement is caused when shoppers spot dupes of their favourite products – especially if they’re significantly cheaper.
TikTok user @dupeshop is known for sharing new and surprising dupes of designer products, from Charlotte Tilbury to Jo Malone.
This time around the popular page says that healthy and beauty retailer Boots has a cheaper alternative to Laura Mercier’s Translucent Loose Setting Powder (£32), which is known as one of the best around.
In a video, @dupeshop claims that Boots’ No7 Perfect Light Loose Powder , priced at £11, is “the exact same”.
In the video, a member of the team says: “I’ve never made a TikTok before but I had to jump on here ‘cause I feel like a lot of you will appreciate hearing this.
“For the past seven years I’ve been using the Laura Mercier setting powder which is £32 until I saw Dupeshop post this dupe and oh my god girls it is literally the exact same colour and I actually can’t believe how good it is.”
The video, which you can watch here, shows the swatches of the two setting powders being used alongside each other. The two are eerily similar in colour and texture and give the same finish once blended, as shown in the video.
