We took a look at some of the roles with high salaries which you could be the perfect fit for, if you have the right skills and requirements.

From vacancies at much-loved Home Bargains to the city’s universities, sales, administration and a Covid support worker role, a range of companies are recruiting right now.

Liverpool John Moores University – Head of Student Support and Wellbeing

Liverpool John Moores University

Liverpool John Moores University is recruiting a Head of Student Support and Well being.

The new role comes with an impressive salary of between £52,559 – £59,135 a year.

If successful you will provide leadership and management for a range of well-being and advice provision for students at the university.

The role also comes with line management responsibility for the Counselling and Mental Health team, the Student Funds team, the Student Support team (disability, international and accommodation advice), the Student Wellbeing team and the Chaplaincy.

Relevant experience and where appropriate clinical knowledge of some or all of these areas is required.

NHS England and NHS Improvement – Covid Support Worker

The NHS England NHS Improvement North West Incident Management Team is on the look out for a Covid Support Worker.

The ideal candidate will be a “motivated and talented individual” who will help to support the NHS response to the pandemic in the North West.

According to the job advert the objectives of the North West ICC are:

“To ensure the capacity is in place across the NW to cope with the projected volumes of cases in line with the national operating policies and procedures for handling COVID-19.

  • To identify and escalate, where appropriate COVID-19 related incidents and problems being experienced in the region.
  • To ensure good flow of information, both ways, between National Incident Co-Ordination Centre and local health services.
  • To join up at regional level the efforts by different agencies e.g. NHS, PHE.”

The successful candidate will be required to work within the North West COVID-19 Incident Co-ordination Centre based at Regatta Place in Liverpool on a seven day shift pattern (0800-2000).

The salary for the role is between £38,890 – £44,503 a year and applications close on January 12.

University of Liverpool – Digital Communications Administrator Grade 5

The University of Liverpool is looking for a Digital Communications Administrator to join its Student Experience Team.

The role comes with a salary of between £25,217 – £29,177 a year and requires you to provide “effective and focused communications support, leading and co-coordinating content for the School website and internal/external communications.”

The job advert specifies those interested in the role will need 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language, as well as experience of using web content management systems and high-level IT.

Communication and listening skills are essential.

University of Liverpool – Digital Marketing Officer Grade 5

The University of Liverpool is also recruiting a Digital Marketing Officer, with applications closing on January 19.

The full-time post will be available until June 2022 and comes with a salary of between £25,217 – £29,177 a year.

The job advert reads: “You will work as part of the Marketing, Recruitment and Events team within the School of Law & Social Justice to coordinate and plan various operational activities associated with digital marketing, events and student recruitment.”

In the role you will be required to develop and maintain good working relationships with key university departments such as external relations and digital communications, as well as individuals and professional bodies/institutions external to the university.

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust – ICRAS Coordinator

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an experienced nurse to join their team of coordinators within the Integrated Community Re-enablement and Assessment Service (ICRAS).

The full-time role will mainly be based out in the community and you will need to be a band seven nurse to apply.

The salary will be between £38,890 – £44,503 per year.

The job advert reads: “The role is to be the first point of access for the ICRAS team and involves triaging and assessing patients in. Excellent communication and organisational skills are required for this role

“The vision for the Integrated Community Re-enablement and Assessment Service (ICRAS) is that a multidisciplinary team work together to manage the care of people both in the community, requiring support of an urgent nature and who are risk of imminent hospital admission as well as those transitioning from an acute environment who require additional support.

“The service consists of a multidisciplinary approach including General Medical Practitioners, Advanced Practitioners, Pharmacists, Nursing staff, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Podiatrist, Dietician, Assistant Practitioners and Health Care Assistants.”

The ICRAS service operates for 24 hours a day over seven days and services across Liverpool and South Sefton may vary in operating/shift hours.

Home Bargains – Buyer – FMCG

Home Bargains is looking for an experienced buyer of fast-moving consumer goods to join their team.

The full-time role will be based in Liverpool with the occasional requirement to visit stores, trade fairs and suppliers.

You will be paid a “competitive salary” and receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year, which will increase to 6.6 weeks upon five years’ service.

The job advert states you will need to be an “experienced buyer, ideally with confectionery experience.”

You should have strong commercial and market awareness, work well under pressure and have excellent attention to detail, giving you the ability to analyse data and spot trends.

Improvement Officer – Knowsley Council

Knowsley Council is looking for an Improvement Officer to join its Operational Improvement Team.

As part of the team you will have the opportunity to support and lead on important projects and carry out improvement work to ensure the council’s resources operate effectively and efficiently.

The vacancy is a full time fixed term contract for two years and comes with a yearly salary of between £30,451 – £32,234.

According to the job specification you will scope projects, hold workshops, map processes and identify areas for improvement in line with council priorities and will often be working on multiple projects at any time.
