Aldi has a special ‘bargain hour’ when products are reduced and shoppers can get as much as 50% off food items.
Keen Aldi shoppers will know that there are plenty of bargains to be had at all times, but it turns out there’s a specific time when items will drop in price.
Customers have been left stunned after it emerged the cheap supermarket chain has a ‘secret bargain hour’, reports BirminghamLive.
During a 60 minute period, Aldi reduces its food by 50% and while many may assume this would be at the end of the day, things aren’t quite so simple.
Several shoppers have reported finding items with 50% off labels at opening times, which is usually around 7am for many stores across the UK.
This may vary from store to store, so contacting your local branch to find out the best time to get your hands on discounted products may be best.

A spokesperson for Aldi said: “All items are reduced to 50% of the recommended sales price before stores open on their best before or use by dates.”
If you’re looking for a bargain at Aldi, early morning is the best time to visit.
